Below is a list of events taking place this spring and information regarding each event. Please mark your calendars. If you have any questions contact Mr. Owens
March 9th - Union County Concert Preview - Students need to be at Central Academy of Technology and Arts (CATA) at 5:30. We perform at 6:00 and will be done by 6:30. All students should arrive in concert attire. The address for CATA is 600 Brewer Drive, Monroe, NC.
March 23rd - Concert MPA at Shelby High School - More details to come soon. Five chaperones will be needed.
April 21st - Mandatory Marching Band Meeting - Any students wishing to participate in Marching Band next fall are reuqired to be at this meeting. It will be at 7:00 pm in the high school band room. A $50 deposit for the marching fee will be due at that time
May 8th - A Major Yard Sale - We will be having our annual Yard Sale in the morning. Many volunteers are needed as well as items to sell. You may drop items off at the school or if you need to have items picked up let us know If you have any questions please contact Charlene Plyler at
May 25th - Spring Concert - There will be a potluck dinner at 6:00 with the concert starting at 7:30

8/1/2009 - Harris Teeter "VIC CARD" Update
It is time again to LINK your VIC Card to the Weddington High School Band Boosters. You can do this on Harris Teeter's web site, or you can do this in person at any store. Even if you have done this in the past you have to do it again now for the 2009-10 school year. The number you will need to use is: 5042. This costs you nothing yet helps support the WHS Band Programs throughout the year.
